-A base form of mental narcissism.
-A forum for sharing things that I find interesting.
-A request to all for a little indulgence.
Hi, I am Niraj Singh. It doesn’t take me much to become curious about generally anything under the sun. I can spend endless hours ferreting, probing, scratching or digging for information or trivia. But then collecting knowledge or trivia has been one thing and recollecting them pretty much another. The less said of it is better.

Anyway, given below are few things that are keeping me occupied these days -
Digital Marketing | Brand Management | Experience Management| CRM | SEO | SEM |Brand Identity | Typography | Web | Mobility | Marketing Convergence | Art | Design| Saturated Colors |
On this site you will find random information culled from various sources and hopefully someday, some original and utterly banal stuff from me.

However, in business and in Government, more advanced strategies are often employed such as:

Buying a stronger (and more expensive) whip.

Changing riders.

Appointing a committee to study the horse.

Arranging trips to other countries to see how other cultures ride dead horses.

Lowering the standards so that dead horses can be included.

Reclassifying the horse as living-impaired.

Hiring outside contractors to ride the dead horse.

Harnessing several dead horses together to increase efficiency.

Providing additional funding and/or training to increase dead horses performance.

Doing a productivity study to see if lighter riders would improve the dead horses performance.

Declaring that the dead horse does not have to be fed, it is less costly, carries lower overhead and therefore contributes substantially more to the bottom line of the economy than some live horses.

Rewriting the expected performance requirements for all horses.

…and of course:

Promoting dead horse to a supervisory position.

Via Subbu

Halt! Advertising Agencies and Advertisers.:
Steve Jobs is to corporate world to what Kolaveri D is to Indian facebookers. Not a day goes when you don’t come across rash of new takes and versions of the person or the song. They both share the RDF (Reality Distortion Field). Steve Jobs stories can make anything sound so profound and Kolaveri versions can levitate any thing to heights of levity. Do love them and hate them both for the same reasons.

But I am digressing. Here is an interesting anecdote on Steve Jobs which makes a very fine point very subtly. This is one of the article, where Steve Jobs has not been contexted just to add the gravitas or rigour to business/marketing arguments.
“When I was young, I used to entertain myself this way before asleep: In my mind’s eye I would see myself lying in bed. I would zoom back like a camera to include my house in my neighborhood in Boulder, in Colorado, in the United States of America, on the continent of North America. Then I would look at the planet like a globe, including India, where I was born; Tibet, where my father and mother were born; and Scotland, where I learned to speak English. Then I would picture Earth as a beautiful blue sphere floating in blackness. I would make the picture bigger, including other planets in our solar system with the sun in the center. The most amazing thing was to see earth disappearing into the darkness of a speck. Then I would imagine the outer planets of the solar system. The sun would disappear as I imagined all the stars in our galaxy, which seemed endless. I would dissolve our galaxy into one star, one light, and make that light very tiny, surrounded by other lights in the darkness, which weren’t stars, but galaxies. Then I would think about how small I was, and how strange and wonderful it is to have been born.”
